The Pilot Scheme (The Scheme) aims to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the environment among teenagers, nurture their leadership skills and encourage them to take positive initiatives in improving the environment. The Scheme is jointly launched by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) and the Scout Association of Hong Kong under the Active Citizenship Badge Series. Through the provision of a series of diversified environmental education training activities, the scout leaders will be equipped with basic environmental knowledge to assist the scout students in obtaining the "Green Pioneer Badge".
